Android with HERO Postpaid Plan

All Malaysians and Non-Malaysian citizens above 18 years old, including new registrations, mobile number portability (MNP) port-ins, prepaid to postpaid conversions and change of rate plans. Non-Malaysian citizens are required to pay upfront payment, phone price and additional RM500 deposit upon sign up.

Customers may visit to any of our U Mobile service centres to sign up your preferred Android with Hero Postpaid Plan. At this moment, this offer is not available at our Premier Dealer stores.

Existing U Mobile customers (Including all Malaysian and Non-Malaysian citizens) who have fulfilled certain criteria will be entitled for the upfront payment waiver upon registration. Otherwise, an upfront payment is required and it will be reflected as rebate in your monthly bills for 24 months.

i. You have been a U Mobile subscriber continuously for at least 1 year; and
ii. You have not been suspended for the last 6 months

Upfront Payment waiver is only applicable to existing U Mobile customers who have fulfilled certain criteria as mentioned above. Upfront payment is required upon registration for port-in and new U Mobile customer.

The amount of the upfront payment may be vary depending on the selected rate plan and device model that you choose.

You will be able to terminate your service anytime. However, if you terminate or downgrade your current plan or change to another rate plan before the expiry of commitment period, the following will be applicable:

  1. For customers who have paid for the upfront payment (not entitled for the upfront payment waiver), your remaining monthly subsidy rebate will be forfeited.
  2. For customers who are entitled for the upfront payment waiver, you are required to refund the balance of device subsidy amount (upfront payment). The balance of device subsidy will be calculated as per the following
    • Subsidy amount (upfront payment) / Commitment Period x remaining number of months. The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminated the Service. (Example: If you have subscribed to P79 Postpaid plan with any device and you terminate on the 7th month, you are required to refund RM360 / 24months x 18 months = RM270).
