Change Rate Plan

CRP DIY allows you to change your rate plans at your own convenience via the following channels: MyUMobile app, web self-care, UMB, SMS.

You can change your rate plan via the following methods:
MyUMobile App and Online Self-Care

  1. Log in to MyUMobile app or online self-care, go to My Account | Change Rate Plan.
  2. Select the plan that you would like to change to.
  3. 3. Confirm your rate plan change and restart your phone once you receive the SMS confirmation.

UMB
  1. Dial *118*7# and to go to My Account
  2. Select 7) Change Rate Plan
  3. Select the plan you would like to change to.
  4. 4. Confirm your rate plan change and restart your phone once you receive the SMS confirmation.

SMS
  1. Send ON Pxx to 28118 (where XX is the plan you would like to change to. Keywords are not case sensitive)
  2. Restart your phone once you receive the SMS confirmation.

Your current rate plan will be pro-rated and the difference will be shown in your next bill statement.

You can upgrade your plan to any of these 3 rate plans: P69, P79 or P99.

There are two (2) scenarios:

  1. If your device plan contract is still active, you will have to visit a U Mobile branch or dealer to change your rate plan. Please note there will be an Early Termination Payment should you change your rate plan before the contract ends.
  2. If your device plan contract has ended, you can change your plan via CRP DIY channels.

The DIY channels are only open to the following:
  1. Postpaid principal line without
    • member line
    • device contract
    • golden number contract
  2. Upgrade to P68, P79 and P99.
  3. Consumer line (not applicable to corporate lines, enterprise lines and staff line)

The DIY channels can only be used to upgrade to P69, P79 and P99. You can walk in to a U Mobile branch or dealer to change to other plans.

If your auto-debit card is expiring, please download the Change Credit Card details form, fill it in and email it together with the supporting documents (as indicated within the form) to payment.processing@u.com.my to update your details. You are required to visit our branch or appointed dealer shop together with the payer to update the credit card details if you are using a 3rd party credit card to pay via auto-debit.
